Dramatize specialises in Dance, Drama and Singing available to children and adults. Classes are tailored in many aspects of  drama and music genres including Musical Theatre, Disney, Popular Music and various others (more info on specific groups in the Services pages of this site).

The main aim and focus of Dramatize is to build members confidence and self esteem in a fun and friendly environment to enable them to learn, develop skills and gain knowledge within Performing Arts. 

The classes consist of Musical Theatre, musical genres, singing, drama, characterisation, role play, improvisation, drama games, dance, movement and mime -  our classes are tailored for each individual and their ability.

Dramatize can be incorporated into many areas of children’s developmental learning such as: 

Socially and Emotionally - Through the use of drama games, where children interact both as a group and individually, kids can develop their social and emotional skills. By using finger puppets to act out dramatic stories, children may also express their feelings and emotions, which promotes discourse and lively discussion.

Physically - Children can benefit physically from moving to exercises, warm-ups, and dancing routines acquiring a broad knowledge of prepositions and movement

Cognitive development - Through role-playing games, kids learn to use their imaginations. We employ a variety of drama props so that kids can connect them to real-world experiences and learn about their surroundings.

A showcase performance is always performed to show what children have learnt during the classes. Dramatize builds communication skills, enhances confidence and self-esteem in a fun, friendly and creative environment.
